As a proud U.S. Navy veteran, I have passion for service, advocacy, and community. Throughout my journey—both in the military and beyond—I have experienced the challenges of transition, loneliness, and navigating life’s unexpected turns. But through it all, I have found purpose in helping others overcome their own struggles.
As a former CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocate), I had the privilege of being a voice for children in the foster care system, ensuring they had the support and stability they deserved. That experience, along with my time in the Navy, reinforced my belief in the power of connection, resilience, and transformation.
The POE Movement was founded to create a space where women and families can come together, release burdens, and experience the power of exchange —emotionally, spiritually, and even tangibly. My mission is to continue building a supportive community where people can heal, grow, and thrive, knowing they are never alone on their journey.
Nicole A. Dunbar joins the founding board of directors of The POE Movement in 2024 because of her personal experience as a member of the POE movement, and her passion for seeing women live out their best lives with confidence, connection, and joy.
